Before You Volunteer
Be proactive and volunteer. You’re in charge. A lot or a little. Synergize! Because working together is better. We appreciate all of our wonderful volunteers! Even if you can only volunteer an hour, you can still make a difference! Before you volunteer however, there are a couple of boxes you’ll need to check.
1. All Volunteers should be PTA members. Click Here To Join PTA
2. Super Important! Volunteers must complete an N.E.I.S.D. Volunteer Criminal History Background check before being volunteering on campus (OR going on any field trips).
- Please plan ahead of your Volunteer Date.
- Allow up to seven days to receive an email about your clearance.
- For faster clearance, please enter your name EXACTLY as it appears on your valid Driver’s License.
- Give that name at the school front desk when getting signed in to volunteer.
*Note: If you applied to volunteer during previous school years (and were approved) you do not need to re-apply to volunteer for the current school year. The volunteer program will automatically resubmit your background check every 2 years until you request it no longer be renewed. To check your volunteer number and status, please call the school front office.
